In the very first "Craic on the Creek" House Concert at Rick and Sue's in Westerville, Ohio, we are pleased to offer a rare opportunity to catch Bella Issakova and Randy Clepper together in concert in central Ohio for a momentous night of traditional Irish music, Tuesday, June 6th at 7:00pm, $15 suggested donation. Bulgarian born, Atlanta based violinist Bella Issakova fell in love with Irish Music in 2000, and began playing and teaching at various festivals. Bella toured nationally with Kerry Records' "An Irish Christmas" for 13 years, and was a member of The Red Wellies. Ohio-based multi-instrumentalist Randy Clepper is an in-demand player of the Irish bouzouki, guitar, and tenor banjo. Randy also performs regularly with fingerstyle guitarist John Sherman, bouzoukist Mick Broderick, performs and teaches at festivals around the country, and hosts the Trad Nua Celtic concert series at Natalie's Live Music in Columbus, Ohio. www.randyclepper.com. Following an appearance at the Berea Celtic Festival in 2019, where Bella arrived without an accompanist and Randy filled in with fifteen minutes notice, the two discovered a mutual chemistry in their subtle and delicate approach to traditional tunes and respect for one another, and have continued to perform together at festivals and concerts ever since. See Bella & Randy perform for Virtual IrishFest Atlanta 2020 here: https://youtu.be/OZSuV1iulRo Session to follow - Irish musician guests, bring your instruments!
